wild wall
Fynn Ribbeck
July 10, 2026 – September 27, 2026
Born in 1995 and living and working in Düsseldorf, the recipient of the Peter-Jacobi-Stiftung’s 2025 Art Scholarship will present his works at the Kunstverein Pforzheim to mark the conclusion of his scholarship.
Under the title “wild wall,” he creates an architectural composition of objects, installations, and film that originates in the digital realm. Fynn Ribbeck draws on the term “wild wall,” used in TV and film set construction, which describes the construction of a set wall that can be easily moved and quickly dismantled. He combines this architectural set construction with the sitcom footage from his film *wild wall*, which is drawn from series such as *Seinfeld*, *The Brady Bunch*, *Full House*, and others.
Fynn Ribbeck combines classical sculpture with digital technology by recontextualizing visual material and translating it into various media.
The Peter Jacobi Fellowship is awarded in cooperation with the School of Design and the Pforzheim Cultural Office.
