Café Roland
Roland Müller, the former head of the examinations office of the School of Design, is a legend and the namesake of the café in the old Alfons Kern Tower. Students and Pforzheimers are involved in the non-profit association Café Roland e.V. and run the café on a voluntary basis. Membership is open to anyone interested.
Café Roland is the central contact point within the new creative quarter between the School in Holzgartenstraße and EMMA and the second living room for many creative people in Pforzheim. Exhibitions, lectures or other events have found a place here.
Café Roland has been open regularly since May 2017 and occupies the first floor and the 1st floor of the A.K.T; - Alfons-Kern-Tower. Program and opening hours at https://www.facebook.com/caferoland
