Does HS Pforzheim charge tuition fees?
We are a state university that does not charge tuition fees. Our students only have to pay administrative fees of around €160 per semester. You can find out more about this topic on the Fees and charges page.
However, depending on the course and project, costs for materials, books or your own technical equipment may be incurred within the courses. These costs are to be borne by the students themselves.
Please note: since the winter semester 2017/18, tuition fees of approx. 1500 € / semester will be charged for international students from outside the EU. Further information can be found here.
Second degree and postgraduate study fees
The universities charge tuition fees of € 650 per semester for the state of Baden-Württemberg for students on a second degree course (a further undergraduate degree course that is taken up after successfully completing a degree course).
The DesignPF Master's degree programs are postgraduate degree programs that require a first academic degree; they are not considered second degree programs per se.
