Language requirements for GERMAN programs

German is the language of instruction in the following degree programs:

  • BA in Accessore Design
  • BA in Industrial Design
  • BA in Fashion
  • BA in Jewelry
  • BA in Transportation Design
  • BA in Visual Communication
  • MA in Creative Direction
  • MA in Design & Future Making


Accepted German language certificates for international applicants: German Language Diploma (Level II) of the Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs, DSH examination (DSH 2), TestDaF (> 16), telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule or Goethe Zertifikat C2 of the Goethe Institute. You can choose which test you submit to us.

Language requirements for ENGLISH programs

English is the language of instruction in the following degree programs:

  • MA in Transportation Design
  • MA in Jewellery (mostly)


Accepted language certificate ENGLISH for all those who do not have English as their mother tongue is the 'Test of English as a Foreign Language', TOEFL. A test score of at least 90 points (235 computer version and 570 paper version) is required for the course. Test results from TOEIC, IELTS, CAEL, CPE and CAE are also recognized and can be converted here if necessary.
