What use are the best ideas...
...without knowledge about the right market access and marketing forms?
The Master of Arts in Creative Direction program aims to increase the effectiveness of design-specific skills and to combine them with analyzing, organizing and reflecting competencies. Precisely because creative thinking acts less schematically and instead openly designs complex visions of the future, it is increasingly demanded of people in managerial positions.
These design-specific skills, coupled with the special ability to visualize facts and ideas, make it possible to train an independent new type of manager who can lead and advise companies in a safe and innovative way. Building on the bachelor's degree, we want to strengthen the students' ability for "creative leadership" so that promising ideas and designs can be safely carried into target markets and intended audiences.
Our graduates are experts in innovation, art direction and innovative market development. Through collaborations with renowned companies and well-known designers, students can immediately apply and test their knowledge in real projects. The development of creative competence is the focus, and sciences such as psychology, behavioral science, philosophy, ethics and cognitive science form the foundation for this.
Developing innovations and implementing visions are key areas of study that show students the importance of independent creation and the methods required to successfully arrive at problem solving. They will further develop design as a service and enable the inclusion of corporate identity, brand strategies, lifestyles and target group scenarios in design.
